WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Build predictive models and analytics pipelines that power SureSystem™ — Forsure's AI intelligence engine for healthcare benefits

• Develop machine learning models for healthcare cost prediction, risk stratification, claims anomaly detection, and population health segmentation

• Design and implement advanced analytics on large-scale healthcare datasets including medical claims, pharmacy data, enrollment records, and biometric data

• Create data visualizations and dashboards that translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights for clients and consultants

• Collaborate with the Benefits Intelligence Researcher to transform market research into quantitative models and benchmarks

• Partner with the LLM Fine-Tuning Engineer to prepare training datasets and develop evaluation metrics for healthcare AI models

• Conduct statistical analyses (regression, survival analysis, causal inference) to measure the effectiveness of benefits interventions and plan design changes

• Build automated data quality monitoring and anomaly detection systems to ensure the integrity of healthcare data pipelines

• Research and implement state-of-the-art data science techniques applicable to healthcare: federated learning, differential privacy, synthetic data generation

• Present findings and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients and C-suite leadership

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE

• 3+ years of experience in data science, applied ML, or advanced analytics — preferably in healthcare, insurance, or benefits

• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL

• Experience with healthcare data: medical and pharmacy claims, eligibility files, cost and utilization metrics

• Solid foundation in statistics: hypothesis testing, regression, Bayesian methods, and experimental design

• Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments

• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, or similar)

• Strong communication skills — ability to present data insights to non-technical audiences

WAYS TO STAND OUT IN THE CROWD

• Experience with self-funded employer health plan analytics, stop-loss modeling, or ctuarial analysis

• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (ICD-10, CPT, NDC, FHIR, HL7)

• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data tools (Spark, Databricks)

• Background in health economics, outcomes research, or epidemiology

• Familiarity with NLP and LLMs applied to healthcare text (clinical notes, plan documents, formularies)
